Translucent Tubing

I've been imagining a form that bends and might hold a clear liquid.

Such becomes hard to visualize without having another sketch that is opaque.

Kinetic Sculpture

This one ought to be a challenge in that I imagine it to be a clockwork powered by the weight of water pumped through specially chambered tanks inside.

Sphericals

This afternoon's sketches played with spheres and penetrations through them.

At first I examined what pieces might look like with holes developed along two axes, then six, as extruded from faces of a cube. The last sketch I decided to include where I last left off with this idea making holes through a cube.

Equestrian (*whimsical*)

Finding an odd blank spot amongst all my other tasks I suddenly found myself experimenting with extrusions and intersects that reminisce over drawing of a monumental sized sculpture that I had ideas for years ago. Today's Ideas

I've also looked into what might be below the surface of a monumental work I envisioned, one of the first I drew when I was teaching myself how to sketch on Google Sketchup.

Kinetic Sculpture

I have this vision of making a spherical clock five meters in diameter that collects solar power through a photovoltaic array, and then runs back and forth on an old abandoned railroad spur.

I don't have much of an idea how I will execute this as yet. It's one of those "Christo" kind of things. I think firstly I will have to marry a rich European heiress.

The Possibility of Sauron's Eye Over Pueblo

Envisioned graffito on one of the two towers over the old Alpha-Beta Meat Packing plant:

This was tediously done by sectioning a photo on Paint and then Importing it onto faces of a cylinder (An antiquated water tank perched 150 feet in the air.)

[I should have entitled this "Sardonic Sauron" for all the nerds who ever left or thought my hometown had a dark or evil eye watching everything in our small city to make sure nothing brilliant or illuminating ever got too well established again after the steel mill declined in 1983. - edited June 23, 2017]

Doodling

This is a sketch I did in a couple hours. I placed it in front of a city street backdrop after learning which way the sadows fall.
